Interlude Soy Wooden Wick Candle

 Wooden Wick Candle Care: The first time you burn your new candle, it is recommended that you allow it to burn until the melt pool reaches the outer edge of the jar (melted completely on top). On average, it can take one hour per inch of the candle’s diameter. A complete first burn will allow your candle to establish a “memory burn pool”, and thus optimize it’s scent throw and burn life. If a correct memory burn is not established on the first lighting, the candle could tunnel burn, greatly reducing scent throw, burn life and will also waste wax. Burning these candles for a minimum of 2 – 3 hours each time, no longer, will ensure that the melted wax pool has reached the sides of the glass jar.

Wooden Wick Care: Keep the wick trimmed to 1/8 th of an inch by snapping off the excess wick with your fingers when the candle wax is cold and solid.
